HOZON Auto, the Chinese startup owning the new energy vehicle brand NETA, announced on June 6 that “Yaoshi”, a special edition of the NETA S, has become available for presale with a limited supply of 999 units. Presale price of the model stands at 338,800 yuan ($50,930).
With an exterior styling greatly resembling the normal version of the NETA S, the Yaoshi can immediately grab viewers’ attention with its scissor doors. The dot-matrix design between the sealed-off grille and the front bumper improves the elegance for the car. The slender daytime running lights serve as a pretty eye-catching part of the split-type headlight cluster.
Apart from the butterfly-styled front doors, the NETA S Yaoshi also features green brake callipers, a carbon fibre spolier, as well as an unqiue logo.
The new sedan model measures 4,980mm long, 1,980mm wide, and 1,450mm tall, with a wheelbase that spans 2,980mm. Its drag coefficient stands as low as 0.216Cd.
The Yaoshi comes with three exterior color options, namely, “Huanye” Black, “Jiye” Green, and “Juechen” Silver.
The special edition is capable of such intelligent driver assistant functions as navigation assistance (“NNP”) and memory parking (“NTP”) thanks to the automaker's full-stack in-house developed intelligent driving system, the TA PILOT 3.0, which consists of 5 millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras, and other sensors.
The NETA S Yaoshi is driven by two electric motors with a combined output of up to 340kW and peak torque of 600N·m. The all-electric model can zip from 0-100km/h within only 3.9 seconds and has a CLTC range of 650km.
