With the accelerating pace of cars entering households, how to maintain cars has also become one of the topics that people are most concerned about at present. In addition to going to the repair shop for regular maintenance on time, the maintenance of some small details is also worth the attention of all car owners, because their maintenance and care are equally related to your comfort and safety when driving.
The key point of inspecting the braking system is the amount of brake fluid, and it is necessary to confirm whether it reaches the reference line of the storage tank. When the brake fluid is significantly reduced compared to the previous inspection, the possibility of a malfunction is quite high. The leakage of the brake lines also needs to be closely monitored. Manual transmission vehicles are equipped with clutches, and the fluid level also needs to be noted. If the fluid level decreases and air enters, braking cannot be achieved. Therefore, the most important aspect to pay attention to in the maintenance of the braking system is the brake fluid. If the fluid level is insufficient and air enters, the braking will become less sensitive. In addition, the clutch should be inspected. Try to step on the pedal and check the intermittent points. If the contact is poor or the accurate points deviate, repair is needed.
For brake fluid, the following six points need special attention:
1. The brake fluid storage tank is made of semi-transparent resin. If the tank is dirty, just wipe it with a cloth and a simple visual inspection can be carried out.
2. The amount of brake fluid is closely related to the wear of the brake pads. There is no problem when it gradually decreases. However, if it drops rapidly, it is advisable to replenish it first and then observe.
3. Check the remaining amount of brake fluid through the display window of the card box. At the same time, you can also pay attention to the scratches on the brake tubes.
4. Spray brake cleaner onto the card box and disc rollers to remove dust and grease, thereby enhancing the braking sensitivity
5. Regarding the clutch, first check the liquid level in the storage tank in the engine compartment. If it is insufficient, the clutch will not disengage.
6. The fluid used in the clutch is the same as that in the brake fluid. It is sufficient to have one tank as a spare.
